My incredible friend @marloniusmusic is having a big band concert on Sunday at the Los Angeles Athletic Club at 2pm, and he’s given me the immense honor of playing piano for it! Jamming out with these guys! These guys were shredding all night! @ruslanpiano 🎹@brogandutcher 🎸 @sydneycruzvocals 🎤 @brandonfansher_bass and @tim_rachbach were cooking the other day! I’ve been given the immense pleasure of music directing a salsa band! This is only almost half the band, but come catch us play our first salsa night performance this Saturday from 9 to midnight at Golden Occasions on 10500 Magnolia Blvd, North Hollywood! Shedding a bit on Dave Brubeck's In Your Own Sweet Way! I first discovered Stephen Sondheim after going to the movies with some friends, and 100% mistakenly thinking that Into the Woods was a run-of-the-mill Disney movie. As soon as the movie started, I thought to myself, “Oh my gosh it’s a musical, what did I get myself into?” 😅😆 But within the first few seconds, I realized that it was actually really awesome music. This is that same intro!
